Schools use the same Service Logs approval queue as organizations, with a key difference: your queue is automatically scoped to your institution's students.
In-platform hours
When students log hours for organizations on Yura, those orgs verify independently. You'll see the verification status in your school's reporting view — no action needed from the school.
External supervisor hours
When students log hours for organizations NOT on Yura, they enter a supervisor email and Yura sends a one-click verification link. As a school admin, you can see which external verifications are still pending and follow up.
Bulk importing legacy hours
Migrating from paper logs or another system? Use the CSV bulk import to bring in hundreds of historical student hours at once. Check the 'Auto-verify' option if these hours were already confirmed.
Announce a clear deadline for students to enter their hours each semester (e.g., 'All fall hours must be logged by January 15'). Students procrastinate less when there's a specific cutoff.
Add a required Select field like 'Service Category' (Community / Health / Education / Environment) to every log. This lets you generate reports grouped by category for district-level reporting.
