The Events tab is your feed of available volunteer opportunities. Every public event from organizations on Yura shows up here, and you can filter to find exactly what fits your schedule.
Useful filters
- Date range — narrow to this weekend, this month, or a specific school break.
- Organization — see events from a specific nonprofit or school club.
- Location — filter by proximity to your zip code, or show virtual-only events.
- Capacity — only show events with open spots so you don't waste time on full ones.
- Tags — filter by interest area (Environment, Health, Animals, Education, etc.).
Most organizations post their events on Sunday or Monday. Check the Events tab early in the week for the best selection of spots.
If you registered with your school email, you'll see school-affiliated events featured at the top of your feed. These events may count toward specific graduation or NHS requirements.
Saving events for later
Not ready to commit? Save an event to revisit later from your profile. Saved events won't hold a spot — you still need to RSVP when you're ready.
Follow organizations you love to get notified when they post new events. You'll never miss an opportunity from your favorites.
