    Change your display name, pronouns, bio, photo, and other profile details.

    Your profile is your public face on Yura. Organizations see it when reviewing your logs, and fellow volunteers see it on event rosters. Keep it up to date.

    Profile basics

    Go to Settings → Profile to edit your display name, pronouns, and bio. Upload a profile photo by clicking your avatar. Changes are live immediately.

    Changing your email

    Settings → Security → Change email. Yura sends a verification link to the new address. The change takes effect once you click the link — your old email works until then.

    Pro tip: Write a meaningful bio

    A short bio like 'Pre-med sophomore passionate about health equity' helps coordinators match you to the right volunteer opportunities. It also looks great on your exported service record.

    For students

    If your school uses domain-mapped enrollment, changing your email to a non-school address may remove you from your school's organization. Only change your email if you're sure you want to leave the school's Yura setup.
